HI there, TOday we went to a pet shop and saw the most georgeous budgie, Its a female. My mum and I just fell in love with it and even though its not very good to get budgies from petshops we still did. Anyways, The pet shop people said tht all of the budgies were under a year old,some about 6 months. WE called her opal, She is a pied of some sort i think, The pet shop people said those types of budgies are called "rainbow budgies" And with some research ive had on here about PIEDS i thought "OMG Rainbow budgies" Petshops dont know anything lol. She is yellow, green, blue and all sorts, Ill have to geta picture later. The only odd thing about her is that the beads/spots that are suppose to be on both sides of her cheecks or whatever/ Well she only has one black spot on one side of her cheecks and thats it. She doent even have another spot on the other cheek, only one single spot (sorry if this is confusing ill get a picture soon ) I thought like all petshop budgies they arent tame, WEll i let her out in the bathroom and cuddled her and patted her and she just sat on my finger. Then she flew off but then i got her again, she doesnt look that young but shes not sick either, Well thanks for reading this long topic, and could you plz give me any other advie i would appreciate it , THis isnt my first budgie ive got 15 others Thanks\ :bliss:

HI I always usually call them English budgies lol My first budgie syd "Green" but as you said libby Yf blue lol, His brother was a blue so i suppose his parents were blue maybe. Tweeti has been a problem bird, she has always been getting in with fights from angel, but i seperated them, Tweeti had a sore eye sore wings but now they seem to be healing a bit, Her only problem is her bum, I took her to the vet but they said they didnt know much about birds, They said it was probably an abcess. It cant be eggbound because its not hard, she s had it for some time and she cant really fly properly so yeah, Also she has red eyes and is yellow with a little bit of white is this a cremino? Grey one called BJ, pearl one called Eragon 1 lutino tame inside budgie called sunny, 3 cats.... tabby called shanti, fluffy tabby called pursia and ginger tabby called saffron, 6 fish yes we do name them.... Torti, Oddball, Sharkey, Nemo, Gobble gobble and Rosie, And finally our shetland sheepdog who got a clip today Finn

I am so sorry for your loss, this is one of the most beautifulest bird i have ever seen, So sorry its very sad when we lose the birds we truly love. :angel1:

It was probably that naughty sunny of mine lol Whenever i let mine out in the bathroom or room now, i take the cage out entirely if only i could do that to the lounge fan they keep on flying up to it then i have to get a chair and et them lol

I agree with everyone lol You should go look at cuddles and puddles and the pet barn, or maybe even the taradale one they might have a cage like our one there. The one you like lol,

thanks for your comments. I thought eragon was a boy but turned out to be a girl lol The she now knows her name eragon so i couldnt change it lol

I thought this was a really cute picture, Eragon, my female pearl cockatiel and Bj male grey cockatiel were sitting on a perch on top of a cage. I decided to put sunny the budgie inbetween and got this really cute picture, they are all looking the same way too :lol2:

lol, Ive seen that movie, its a crack up lol The only bit i dont like is when that horrible man throws the cute little chihuahua to the snake :doh:

what sort of oil?are you sure theyre not too bad,i see some other peoples scaley faces in the earlier stages and then i look at mine and i think whoa thats bad, i feel so bad for not treating it earlier will they be okay if i apply the oil!!!What sort of oil1st photo and 3rd photo is oliver,2nd and 4th photo is a different bird limey.

HI there, I think that a couple of my budgies might have scaley face What is the treatment to get? I have a powder called external parasite powder, which says its for all caged birds..... For fleas, mites and lice. Do i give them this? It says to just rub it in to their feathers Thanks again :hug: by the way i love the new emoticons :lol2: :chickendance:

hi, The baby im keeping is such a wee cutie, Its a lutino, very unexpected as the parents are blue with yellow head. My mum was thinking of the name Sunny. I will get some pics of him/her some time today. Thanks
