I served some new seeds today, and oh dear what a chaos. Konrad was there first, and wouldn't let Figaro even taste it, so I ended up serving some outside the cage as well. Konrad was sure that I gave Figaro something better than she had in the usual foodbox, and had to get out and check it out. Apple was also served for the first time, with great success. Someone is moulding =P Some candy from the nature outside, they simply love it! Konrad decided to take a bath for the first time ever, I had to get her wet belly on a picture, een though it wasn't enough light for the picture The new seeds are great! Figaro shows his best side, as usual^^ Feeding Konrad through the cage "- I'm so handsome, don't you think?" Konrad is convinced Figaro's seeds are better tasting than hers Over and out from Sweden Jen

Doh, I actually updated the wrong post before. Here are some pics of Konrad (my little hen) and her new boyfriend Figaro. So Figaro is starting to grow up... he is slowly trying to get the grip about the whole making babies thing, but he isn't the brightest :yellowhead: Here are some updated pics and videos on the two lovebirds Bad hairday for Figarol It's always the cheapest toys that turns out to be the best Figaro feels sorry for himself after Konrad turns down his "love" offer FIgaro finally got his irisring (it's called that in english too, right?). Thank you, yea it's turning out to be a popular toy actually. Today I changed the cage, and took them both out, but since Konrad can't fly I made them a little playcenter on the floor with the playground, some hirsh, branches from outside with wet leaves and whatnot, and Figaro decided he would be a runner budgy today as well, I didn't see him fly once hahaha. I also like that you can remove and add toys on the playground as you wish, since there are a lot of slots to put them in. I bought it in Germany, I think it was made by Ferplast that makes all the other stuff for budgies over here.

Thank you for the comments I'm hoping Figaro is a boy as well, but it's hard to show the color properly on the video, since the quality isn't that great once it's uploaded on the web :ausb: Hopefully you could all enjoy some quiet preening and the joy of crawling next to a piece of broccoli anyway
