Hi I was wondering at what age should birds breed at? As in what age should i put two birds into a breeding cabinet. And also is there anyway of telling how old a budgie is and if it is ready to breed?

If you dont know then dont breed until you have had the bird long enough to know for sure. If not post pictures here.

No. The lines are more to do with babies before first moult.
If you are at all unsure of ages do NOT add a nestbox.
