what happened to the daddy?

Daddy was an older bird from a breeder who said to take a chance on him with a clutch. He seemed fine .....no sign of illness and full of vigour ....but one very cold night passed away. Mother is fine.

NAP TIME FOR BLACK AND WHITE "BUDGIES"

It's OK....some of mine nearly draw blood too. But the more I handle them the less the do it. The new aviaries we are modifying have hatch doors between so as each bird "graduates" to the next level (baby from nursery section to juvenile section etc etc....) they will just be quickly caught or herded through a hatch door into the next area.

Yes we will miss them. New owners will sign a contract in blood that under pain of death they MUST update on progress complete with photos tongue.gif But one girl goes to my best friend Liz and we keep one, another will live in the same suburb as us so we shall get to see some of them. tongue.gif
