Click on the picture to link to a bigger one in my photobucket if you're interested. The dimentions are 47cm wide, 36cm deep, and 68cm high. The food containers are on a one of the short sides, and both the front and back or the cage have large doors. The "door" on what we are using as the front of the cage is made of clear acrylic that slides in and out. When it's out, the door is huge, and Quin can fly in and out very easily, landing straight on his perches inside the cage. When the acrylic has been in place, there have been a few times when Quin has flown into it, but not many. I think he's almost figured it out now. In the picture, the acrylic has been slid out. The back door opens like a trapdoor to provide a landing platform, but we prefer the acrylic door sa the front, because it is so much bigger, and it's wonderful not to have to look through bars to see Quin when the door is closed. Today, we added a calcium perch to the outside of the cage in the front so he has another way to get in and out of his cage, and also so he can enjoy sitting on his doorstep. Here's a different perspective... a budgie's eye view And Quin on his new perch Link to comment

And here is my play gym I made for them out of and old cage: http://photobucket.com/albums/c203/Sailorw...011_450x337.jpg Pros: It is large, I'm not sure of its dimensions It has a flat top It has vertical wires Doors are good sizes It has 4 doors in total including the feeder tray doors I has a draw for easy cleaning Cons: It has white powder coating which makes it harder to see in. There are no horizontal bars so I can only put perches at two levels The doors only slide up and down, with no latch It has a wire bottom so I can't put floor toys in the cage Link to comment

I love this cage. This is 2 of my tiels home but I believe you can get the spacing in budgie sized too. This is the terrible two, Tobi and Max's cage. This one was from Pets At Home and was £50 I think. I love the big opening door and they love playing on it too. This tiel cage I believe can also be purchased in budgie sized spacing. The roof also opens up totally. The cage is 100cm high, 180cm long and 70cm wide. I've bought some swings and toys, but not much, I want them to have some space to fly :angel1: I'm just waiting for my 3 chicks to get out of the box and then I'm gonna move all of them to their new cage. Dimensions are 34" x 22" x 43" and is perfect for 4 hens. Amazing how a mixed aviary 2.5 times the size of my current flock thrived in the smaller cages I had and yet only 4 hens can live in this one...males are definitely "buffers"! Anyway, I could fill this thing with so many perches and toys, but have found that the birds seem to prefer less in there. I think they just love being able to fly in it. I love being able to avoid putting anything above the food and water dishes so they remain poop-free! New Cage Edited June 6, 2007 by Rainbow Link to comment

Honestly. It's so much bigger in real life, the pictures don't capture the hugeness of it. I woke up this morning and was surprised that it was there. ITS SO HUGE bigggggg Honestly. My room is nothing now. I have no room to move. haha. DIMENSIONS: 37" x 27.5" x 67" inch 94 X 40 X 170 cm I'm so happy And so are the birds! I plan on attaching a manzanita perch atop the cage roof so they can land on top it. And I want to put a plant beside it and maybe one inside. I want to make it all natural and stuff. Anyways, I'm super pleased. And these pictures just don't do it justice. The pictures also make my room look wayyy bigger. haha Edited June 8, 2007 by standbyme Link to comment

Now in my defence, I had an outdoor one but Harley spent one night in it and I thought he looked sick so I got rid of it. Also I ordered a bigger cage for Queenie and Harley but then we moved so this is the smaller one and I use to let them out whenever they felt like it. So this is Harleys at the moment. Most of his toys are in storage however yes he has 3 mirrors in there! and yes one HUGE honey stick! (my sister just gave them both one) Also I swear these cages are bigger then they look. Blue is in this cage yes it is very small but he gets at a min 2 hours out a day as this is set aside for training and just free flight. After the quarra this will be used for transport or if one of the birds are sick. Also found this in my travels and I want one! http://cgi.ebay.com.au/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...bayphotohosting Since I just bought a new house and I get a Study (which the bords will get half off) I will post picture's of the setup and their new cage. It's huge. It's about 64" long, 21" wide (no longer fits through my room door) and cage itself is 35 high. I don't remember how tall it is besides a bit over 5 feet http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa143/F...es/PA241588.jpg I've been told it can hold 16-20 budgies but 20 is pushing it. I could get away with it, with all the out time my guys get although i don't see myself with 20 budgies any time soon Then i'm thinking about getting this cage off ebay to house All the budgies including the babies if we get any until i decide what i'm going to do with them all. http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u124/My...07/CIMG0338.jpg This cage i'd say max would be 10-12 with lots of out time. Tried to edit top post but messed up so i will add here. For the top cage i'd persoanally never add more then 12- 14 budgies with lots of out time and max i'd ever put in the bottom cage is 10. While i'm at it heres another cage i had. It's a pretty common cage. http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa143/F...es/P7221077.jpg Max i'd put in here myself is six but Others think 8 is great. i've seen someone have and it with 8 and there was to much squabaling for my liking Heres another i used for the tiels but sold. Horrible double stacked cage. Very hard at assemble. You can only see the top 1/2 but you get the idea. 4 budgies would go in here nicely with out time http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa143/F...es/P7221082.jpg Edited March 5, 2008 by Enna Link to comment

Ill take pictures of my cage tomoz morning for you. Im lucky enough to have a eucalypt in the back yard that I can steal leaves and branches from! Also someone mentioned way back in the thread about how people keep their bird in small cages, yet most people on this site do the right thing. I think its all about education and personal responsibility. 1) either people dont know that what they are doing is wrong or 2) they dont care that what they are doing is wrong. Most people on this site know to do the right thing because they have a personal responsibility for their animals and choose to find out all they can for them.... Seriously I think I wanna be an animal teacher or something like that! I WANNA EDUCATE THE WORLD! now.... If only I could spell.... Link to comment

This is my breeding cabinet for my bushies. Brand new. And you can see the male popping his head out to have a peak at who is there. Fresh gum leaves to chew on and play with. (Ps. Should I put toys in with the bushies box? they have never seen toys before?). I have attatched a black sheet to the top to cover them at night. This box is on my desk in my room. This is by baby boys cage. With admitiedly too many branches in their at the moment. Heheh: Side view: Other side (with rook eating breakfast): With the top open: His cage is next to the couches in our lounge room. CommentS? Link to comment
