What Im hoping is that someone may recognise the breeder code as I would like to make contact if possible and obtain some history on this bird as I shall use him for breading. Leg ring is orange 2012 BCV RR 2 X2 C44. I recently came across this obvious show bird in a pet shop in Wodonga Vic. The only info they could give was that the previous owner had brought him in and swapped for a smaller bird. Hears hoping Thanks Paul Link to comment

Am joining Boarder districts and will continue inquires from there, Ring register ect. Closer exam of the ring plus inquires to date. Ring is gold not orange. 2012 BCV RR2 X2 044. So what I know is that bird was rung 2012 by a member of a club affiliated with the Budgie Council Vic, Breeders Code is RR2 and that the ring number/bird number is 044, the 44th bird rung by that breeder in 2012 season. Might seem like basic knowledge to some but we all start somewhere. Seems the deeper i get into this hobby the steeper the learning curve becomes and im loving it. Link to comment

Their name and contact info will be on the BCV website. Edited July 30, 2013 by Nadene Link to comment
