Lettuce is a no no as it is something like 97% water. You are much better with spinach or silverbeet. As for veges, some are a no no. Things like apple seeds are bad, so avoid them. I am sure there is a list on here somewhere however the good ones to go with off the top of my head are spinach or silverbeet, corn, beetroot and carrot. All these should be fresh, not the tinned variety. Link to comment

Avocado is a no-no, most fruit is okay, but usually they'll just have a nibble, asian greens are good (any) and don't forget the snow peas!! Think there is a list in FAQ's.
