It doesn't bode well for Matt and Dave that they're the only ones on here, except for a bunch of married women! :D

im single but very happy with my birds thanks i do get lonley at times but would be preferring to find a good friend to just do things with not a partner or a relationship .

my birds are good as ...

 i dont need to have to tell them where and when im going

nor do i need to be quiet in morning when i get up put my music on at 600 am

they dont complain when i boil their breaky eggs bit to much

nor do they wine that im sitting on my butt all day spending time with them when really i been up since 4am cleaning house doing washing extra before relaxing for a day

nar i think i like being single :D married to my birds

i do miss cooking for someone though but i would probably be off in my own world anyhow and burn it as ive wondered off to gaze at my birdy friends

besides i get to cook for them :)

im not your average bear

B)

and my tolerance for people isnt very high i think it would be a miracle to actually find a match for me :laughter:

i also talk to much

:P and about nothing totall **** as im really not that into anything

i dont watch tv i dont read paper or magazines

i dont do the shopping thing for just a new what ever

i just be .... happy :party0011:

so im single but ...not looking could you imagine having to have his n her aviarys

I know some lovely single ladies who are in budgie clubs. There's scope for romance everywhere you look really if you have an open mind.

Yes Dave CHICKEN

Greg use to be interested but now is totally NOT

He use to help me pair up as he has the eye for them, he knows a good bird when he sees one, not like me who goes nuts over choosing. I know what I want and what i like but get a bit carried away :party0011:

He is always acusing me of budgering (that's the word he uses) and on the computer or to friends on the phone.

He reckons that is all I talk about BUT he always talks about his pigeons. BUT that's different

I really wish he would take some interest again. :laughter:

BECAUSE when he did is when I bred better birds. Now I am on my own, as he puts it you can't go wrong they are all related in some way or another. They all look the same so just go for it. WOW isn't that a lot of NOT help

But anyway I will continue on my merry way and breed and etc on my own.

well so far no ones interested

Dave why you hiding

maybe you can find a budgie gal

but really i think if this thread is going to go anywhere

we need a question and answer time :laughter:

so i will ask a question and then someone can awnser it and then ask a question of their own

this may if not help people get to know each other more on here in general

and

you only awnser what you want if you want

and really i think everyone should join in so we can all become more acquainted

but if your single and looking be sure to put it out their just never know who may pm you lol  knows maybe some one will find true love

:party0011:

so here is a question

if you were to get a chance to go anywhere just once with 500.00 in your pocket

where would it be ????

and the aim of this is to get to know each other so be honest if your going to reply

and try ask better questions than mine

have fun all

:party0011:

nar id go collect a hamper of yummy foods and a few ruski 's not to many then head off buy a leather bean bag a black one(so it warms up in sun) and then find a nice secluded place with a a lot of sun

maybe beach but not in the sand on the grassy lawn put music in my ears and lay back till sun starts to set then with rest of money id drop into an op shop grab a reasonable out fit to wear and stash my picnic basket n bean bag somewhere then head off out to a nice bistro for some warmth and tea before enjoying a train ride home

after retreving my new snug bean bag of course

if i had money left as im sure i would

then id get the kids all a small something before i got home

splat you forgot a to ask a question ......

I think a singles' thread is a nice idea, although it rather depends on the purpose of it.

I am a widow and am really quite happy now. (At this point everyone rushes to my profile to see how old I am. ) However, a pet-bird-loving partner, who would build me an entire house just for my birds would be a bit special and definitely worth a second look. :party0011:

Oooh yes. GB! You have caught my idea exactly. :)

I would like there to be a shallow, self-filtering fountain for the birds to bathe in. There would be a section of roof which opens to let in the sunshine and which automatically closes the second it senses moisture. There would be a pop out aviary where the birds could go if they fancied sitting in the rain.

There would also be cheap, easy-lift floor covering which I could fold up, throw away and replace on a regular basis. The house would have top level security and be fire, tornado, cyclone and flood proof.

A small house for me (and perhaps my partner) would be attached to the bird house where I would sleep and store the things I don't want pecked.

:) I would chuck Greg in for a nice guy who would build me my dream bird room, something like Henry Georges would do but I would settle for a setup like Gary Watsons

okay question.

If you met the right guy or gal and hooked up would you have your birds and his or hers depending on your sex or would it be ours and our beautiful birdroom and aviaries?
