What Colour To Pair With?

Hi,

 

I have a dominate pied (green and yellow) cock...very nice looking to me anyway!!!

I just wanted suggestions on what colour hen to pair him with to get awesome colours??

Any ideas on what you will mix him with with be much appriecated

I would personally pair him to another BLUE dom pied. You would get double factor dominant pieds which look awesome in my opinion. If the green one you currently have is split for blue you will get blue chicks also. If not then they will be all green.

Perhaps if you like spangle you could get a blue dom pied spangle.

If you want the best mix, pair him to a Yellow faced type 1 dominant pied spangle mauve bird. That shoud give you some good looking birds.

I consider good looking as really mixed coloured pieds... Im a huge fan of pieds!!!

Wanted to try get....some good colouring out of the male I have and mix with a good coloured female.....So really Pieds i'd like!!!

Then you want to add some opaline or even opaline spangle in with the yellow faced blue dominant pied :D

Yellowface blue dominant pied spangle is my all time favourite mutation.
