  1. Thank's to all of of you. I will indeed remove the swing and head straight to the pet store for some iodine drops. :28:
  2. Is there a liquid that I could put in her water as she is picky with what she eats.
  3. Just the hiccup type of sound, no other symptoms other than the big droppings.
  4. Thank you for responding. No discharge from nostrils of any nature. The droppings are a mixture of normal small with white centre, and very large pasty dark droppings with a large white centre. No change to diet, but I placed a cuttle type of block in her cage (she hasnt touched) which has minerals etc, and put bird sandpaper at the bottome of her cage (which I have removed as she refused to come off her perch). Standard diet of Trill, and green vegies. Plus, she has taken to chewing her nylon swing, and any dropping's on it she eats??? Remove or wash?
  5. My 2 year old budgie in the past week has had a change in droppings. There is a mix of small (normal looking) to very large (size of 5 cent piece) mushy droppings. She has also developed what I would say sounds like the hiccups. She has been pooing in her water, so could this be the cause?? I change the water each morning, and when I come home it is filthy with her droppings. I am concerned as she is a dear little bird and I'm not sure what could be causing these symptoms? Please help.
